Places to Get Naked: Paradise Pool
When people hear about the Blue Mountains their minds often take them too the local tourist attractions at Katoomba. These include Wentworth Falls, Leura Cascades and of course The Three Sisters. These are amazing places to see of course, but the Blue Mountains offers so many hidden gems along the way that are definitely worthwhile checking out, particularly if you enjoy spending time naked in nature.
One of these locations is PARADISE POOL, located at Linden just off the Great Western Highway, NSW. This little bush oasis has been a local hotspot for years. The water is often cold, but makes for a refreshing swim. There is a sandy beach area perfect for sunbaking and the addition of the waterall complimented by hanging flora really makes you understand why it has been rightfully named “Paradise Pool”
To get here, simply park along Tollgate Drive, Linden (as outlined below) and follow the walking track which leads to the start of the trail. Alternatively, you can park in a small 2 car spot outside of Caley’s Repsule on Caley’s lane and follow the small trail between two residential property which leads to the same trail. The start of the Paradise Pool walking trail is marked by a “Blue Mountains National Park” sign and recently it has been added to Google Maps. The descent takes about 20 minutes, and the climb back up about 25 minutes and is a Low/Moderate Grade intensity.
This place is ideal for a first timers skinny dip. During the week, you will have this place to yourself. It can get busy on hot summers days, particularly on weekends, but generally it is quite secluded. Mountain locals do love a skinny dip so even if you do get busted I’d be surprised if anyone would actually blink twice.
For all of you who have been fans of our page for quite some time but are yet to give the naked in nature experience a go, now is your chance. Stay tuned for more great locations and we can’t wait to hear all about your experience!
Always remember, never impose nudity on anyone and always be conscious and respectful of others around you. Finally, don’t be a tosser and pack up your rubbish 😊
